Evening Entertainment

The evening entertainment started with the drawing for a
Pfaff sewing machine!!

Carol Stewart won!

Phil from Central Arizona Sewing, who donated the sewing machine to our
camp, wasn't able to come Tuesday evening to do the drawing.
But he did come on Wednesday to help Carol set up her new machine.

Thank you, Phil, for such a wonderful prize!!

Phil also donated 2 $50.00 gift certificates for service at his store.
Maryann Conner won BOTH of them!

Candace and Gale performed a skit.
Very funny!

Jamie Bennett, who used to be in our guild (aka Jamie Coram) did a trunk show.
Unbeknownst to Jamie, her mom had flewn in from Idaho to see Jamie's show.
Her mom was sitting in the audience, in the center of the second row. We all
knew Jamie's mom was there and Jamie didn't know, so we had to
wait patiently until Jamie noticed her, which took awhile! I'm sure none
of us heard Jamie's talk in anticipation of her discovery.
Needless to say, Jamie was shocked and we all got a good laugh.

Thank you, Jamie, for the wonderful
trunk show and for letting us
surpise you. It was the high point
of the evening!

After the trunk show, we played several games of Quilt-O.
Being a long day and lots of activity, most people retired to their
rooms after the games. But a few people stayed behind for Storytelling.
It was a fun and entertaining way to chat and get to know each other better.
